How Ratings Works
Select data from current and prior year financial
statements of the company in question is entered into the
scoring model, producing a BBK Rating and a summary report
which includes:
· A rating from A to F which indicates the overall
financial strength of the target company
· A comparison
of the target company’s financial
metrics with healthy company averages within the
same industry classification
· Identification of the
company’s problematic
areas such as operational earnings and/or balance
sheet structure

Data
for BBK Ratings:
The information needed for a Rating of a public company
can be found through the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC)
http://www.sec.gov/.
However, data needed for a Rating of a private company must
be obtained directly from the target
company. BBK often helps clients obtain private company information.
BBK can also assist with obtaining international company
information for BBK Ratings' Europe and Asia. |
